6K a year 7 days ago 7 days ago 7 days ago LIBRARY ON-CALL POSITIONS The Town of Dennis seeks qualified applicants for On Call positions at Dennis Public Library.
Duties encompass a wide range of library activities, including assisting patrons at the counter and on the phone; providing requested information and Reader's Advisory services; searching the system's OPAC (online public access catalog) and other relevant resources; helping patrons with the library's public computers and printer; performing circulation desk functions such as check-in/check-out, maintenance of patron's records, collection of fees and fines, issuance of library cards, and organization of books and materials; and other duties as assigned.
Must be able to stretch overhead or bend down to reach some shelving and push book carts weighing up to 50 pounds.
The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and complete duties independently and accurately.
This position provides fill-in coverage for regular staff on an as-needed basis.
High School degree or equivalent; 1-3 years of previous library experience (CLAMS preferred); and experience with Innovative Sierra or other automated library system, personal computers, electronic devices, and the Internet is required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
