Responsibilities:
o Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls, and perform necessary repairso Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety riskso Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairso Painting, wall repair, and general property maintenance and upkeepo Groundskeeping responsibilitieso Perform repairs on heating, cooling, and plumbingo Respond quickly and professionally to guest needso Perform painting tasks including patching drywall, caulking, cosmetic touch-upso Deliver and/or remove furnishings from rooms as neededo Complete daily assigned responsibilities and provide guests with excellent customer serviceo Take care of pool area:
clean, open umbrellas, move furniture, collect water samples 4 times a date maintain record organized for inspection, etc.
o Take care of trash collecting throughout the property and placing bags in the Dumpster.
o Take additional maintenance requests as assignedo Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications:
o Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systemso 2
years of maintenance experience preferredo Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detailo Must be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedureso Should be able to demonstrate an understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systemso Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekendso High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceo Spoken Languages:
English (preferred), Spanish, Portugueseo Previous hotel/building experience a pluso Must be authorized to work in the US.
